	What attracted me to his product was the HDMI output. I need to convert component in many applications to HDMI for the newer sets I install. Though not quite as good as some of the more expensive scalers I have ever used, overall the unit works very well for the price and I am happy with it. I especially like the convenience of the front panel features and controls.

	The monitor I have has multiple HDMI inputs and a limited # of component inputs. This item allows me to get a better picture on component sources while utilizing the HDMI inputs. Very happy with this purchase.
