The 2x2 switcher has four DVI inputs and two DVI outputs. Computer #1 will have two male to male DVI cables attached to the DVI connectors on the video card(s). The other end of the cables will plug into "DVI IN" 1-1 and 1-2. Computer #2 will have two male to male DVI cables attached to the DVI connectors of the video card(s). The other end of the cables will plug into "DVI IN" 2-1 and DVI 2-2. Your DVI displays will connect into the outputs of the switcher and the USB keyboard and mouse will connect into the USB ports on the switcher. Switching between computers is done from a key switch or remotely using contact closure remote control.Any Apple flat panel display can be connected when used with the ex•tend•it DVI to ADC Conversion Box.The 2x2 switcher will NOT switch between four computers and two displays or four computers and one display.
