The Kramer FC-10 is a format converter designed to interface between composite video and s-Video (YC). The decoding channel converts a typical composite video signal on a BNC connector to s-Video on a 4pin connector. Encoding (s-Video to composite) is also provided, allowing simultaneous bi-directional operation. The FC-10 is a compact desktop size unit but two can be installed in a standard 19” rack using the RK-50R rack mount kit if desired. A 12 volt power supply is included for typical use but the optional, rack mountable VA-50P can power up to six Kramer devices requiring 12VDC.
