The Kramer FC-14 is a high quality, multi-standard converter that converts RGB video to component video (Y, B-Y, R-Y, sometimes called YUV). The unit allows RGB video to be displayed on plasma monitors and other display devices equipped with component video inputs. Different sync variants on the RGB inputs are supported - separate H & V (RGBHV), separate composite sync (RGBS), sync-on-green (RGsB), and even sync-on-all (RsGsBs). The unit recognizes any sync polarity, and is compatible with both video level (0.3V) and TTL level syncs. It can transcode any RGB video - progressive scan or interlaced - to component format, making it ideal for standard definition video as well as for high-definition video, VGA, SVGA, XGA, etc. The unit is adjustment-free, and uses high quality analog circuitry - eliminating the artifacts associated with digitizing, and allowing the unit to operate with any video resolution! The FC-14 is rugged, dependable, and can be mounted in a 19” professional rack using the optional RK-80R rack adapter.
